Our new Technical Centre is based near Milan and houses some of the most up to date testing and technical equipment currently available. This not only includes laboratory scale but also includes pilot plant facilities where we can reproduce the conditions relevant to our customers industrial plant.

Essentially our activities here are threefold, we have our Research and Development Team, our Application Development Team, and our Physical Testing Service.

Novotex have made substantial investment in our R&D and Product development programmes, both in terms of highly qualified human resources and cutting-edge laboratory and testing equipment.

The rationale behind this is to diversify its product portfolio, fine-tune new technologies and to compete in the ‘technical’ markets where the main goal is finished product conformity to international standards with high specification.

Novotex relies on the collaboration with international institutes, university and research centres, to develop new products and meet the requirements of different manufacturing industries eg work garments, paramedical materials, automotive, extreme sports,furniture etc.

Our R&D activities look at the development of the basic chemistry to achieve the high specifications in our increasingly sophisticated market sector.
Our Application Team take our technology and apply this to the demands of our customers and the market for specific performance requirements in the finished article.

Finally we have our Physical Testing Service where we can examine the physical and performance properties of finished articles to international specifications. This service is available to our customers.
